REVIEW: TIAM AC Fighting PHA 12 Purifying Liquid

This TIAM AC Fighting PHA 12 Purifying Liquid comes in an opaque PP bottle with a pump. The color is clear and the texture is semi-viscous. The pump dispenses a good amount of product and I use two pumps for the whole face. It can be easily absorbed by the skin without the sticky feeling.

Main Ingredients:
PHA (Gluconolactone), Tea Tree Leaf and Chamomile Flower Water, Allantoin, Sodium Hyaluronate.

Price:
USD 25 for 80 ml.

My Thoughts:
This is a gentle exfoliant that you can use before applying your toner or use as the toner itself. I use this as a toner and used this on days that I have a little breakout. I like to use this together with my facial cleanser that also has PHA as I feel they compliment each other – both being gentle on the skin but also exfoliate the dead skin cells and calm the redness of my pimple.

I use this also in both PM and AM routines and I like to use this together with TIAM Pore Minimizing serum and cream. All these three products are lightweight on the skin and my oily skin loves every bit of it.

I don’t use this on days that I do not have a breakout as I feel it can be a little drying when used constantly. I also like to rotate products in my routine. Product claims to be suitable for sensitive skin and this didn’t give me any skin irritation at all and made my skin feel smooth especially when I wake up in the morning.

If you have sensitive skin and wanted to incorporate chemical exfoliant in your routine, this is a great product, to begin with before moving into AHA and BHA. I removed 1 star in my rating because it only has 6 months PAO, otherwise, a perfect rating. Will repurchase.
