[REVIEW] SKIN&LAB Vitamin C Brightening Serum

SKIN&LAB Vitamin C Brightening Serum is another vitamin C I have in my collection, kindly sent over by SKIN&LAB for me to try. I haven’t seen drastic results after incorporating Vitamin c products into my routine for the first time about 6 weeks ago, so this review will be from a beginner’s PoV!

And now for the review!
Ingredients: Vitamin C (stable form), 15% vita energy complex : 15-vitamin blends + Panthenol + 5-Hyaluronic Acid + Hydrolyzed Collagen + MATRIXYL 3000 (anti-aging peptide), Vitamin E

Price: $18.99 on Amazon

Rating: 4/5

Thoughts: the first thing I was to smell the serum because I wanted it to smell like citrus and unfortunately it didn’t. It had a classic unfragranced product plastic smell but it did not have that scent after applied to my face. The texture of the serum is slightly sticky and tacky upon application, but it does not stay that way after applying other products/drying. I like that the packaging is opaque since it will help the serum to stay better longer, as most vitamin Cs tend to oxidize and no longer work. Additionally, since it’s in a stable form of Vitamin C paired with Vitamin E, the duo is a dream come true, much like the Klairs vit C serum + vitamin E mask! I will have to use it more to be sure of its brightening and glowing effects, but so far it has not cause any irritation or problems with my skin.

Have you tried this serum before? It is highly reviewed everywhere I look!
