[REVIEW] Pressology Golden Hour

Thank you Pressology for sending me Golden Hour complimentary to review! Here’s some information about the brand and my experience using this product.

Pressology is a WOC founded business based in San Francisco. The brand is vegan, cruelty-free, ethically sourced, and sustainably packaged. They donate 1% of their sales to environmental causes as a member of 1% For the Planet, and also donate to Project Night Night, a nonprofit organization that provides sleep essentials like blankets, stuffed animals, and books to underprivileged babies and children.

The brand let me pick a product to review and I chose Golden Hour, a blend of 7 plant-based oils, including baobab, marula, cranberry, pomegranate, sacha inchi, sea buckthorn, and turmeric. These oils are rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, and essential vitamins.

This facial oil is free of fragrance and has a minimal ingredient list, making this an ideal option for those with sensitive skin like myself. It is priced at $33.

I like to add a few drops of this oil into my moisturizer or to pat directly onto my skin as the last step of my nighttime skincare routine. It does a great job of softening my skin and giving my face a luminous glow. My only con is that to me it smells like broccoli? Maybe it’s the baobab oil, because I have no idea what that’s supposed to smell like.

Overall, I’m a big fan of this facial oil and use it often, especially whenever I get dry patches. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a sensitive skin-friendly blend of oils or dry skin. Do you like to use a facial oil in your skincare routine?
