[REVIEW] Medik8 C-Tetra Lipid Vitamin C Antioxidant Serum

Let’s talk about the power of Vitamin C! Medik8 C-Tetra Lipid Vitamin C Antioxidant Serum, is a great entry product for those with sensitive skin or new to using Vitamin C in skincare. The formula uses Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate. What on earth is that and how do you even pronounce it?Might be what you are thinking?!

Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate is a gentle yet super stable form of Vitamin C. Thank god Medik8 shortened this to C-Tetra, it saves me from typing the longer term all the time.

Benefits of this serum:

Key Ingredients: Vitamin C and Vitamin E both powerful and rich antioxidents, brightens skin, hydrating and fights free radicals. Formula sinks in very well into the skin, leaving a glowing complexion.

No artifical fragrance, synthetic colours or phthalates.
Paraben free, vegan friendly, alcohol free, cruelty free.

My thoughts on this serum:

I Love the texture! It is really light weight and moisturising, it does not tingle on my skin, like most Vitamin C serums I have used in the past. I do feel it sinks in very well into the skin, and no tacky residue, which has been a pet hate for me in the past with Vitamin C serums.

The bottle is perfectly air tight and a dark colour which is ideal for Vitamin C due to the fact it is known to oxidise when exposed to sunlight or air.

My skin looks much brighter and even, I am currently using 1 to 2 drops of serum this daily, every morning before applying moisturiser. I would say a bottle lasts about 2/3 months before it starts to oxidise. Pricing is reasonable £35.00.
