REVIEW: Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Face Butter

I have quite dry skin myself, so I am always on the hunt for creams that can keep my skin moisturized and nourished throughout the day. This Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Face Butter really seems to fit the bill for me. It keeps my skin looking hydrated and moisturized all day long. It is not heavy enough for evening use for me, but it works great as a daytime moisturizer for me. On evenings where I do feel like using this cream, I like to layer a nourishing facial oil on top to seal in all of the moisture and nourishment.

Ingredient Highlights:
1. Argan oil
2. Shea Butter
3. Watermelon Seed Oil
4. Cucumber extract
5. Aloe Leaf Juice
6. Allantoin
7. Panthenol

From just looking at the texture, this cream seems like it would be much heavier on the skin than it has actually turned out to be. I have found that this product melts beautifully into the skin and provides a pleasant burst hydration alongside the nourishment and moisturizing that I would expect from a cream. It doesn’t feel too heavy or greasy on the skin and it leaves my skin with a radiant glow to it.

Price Point: $42 USD for 50mL

Repurchase? I have way too many moisturizers open right now to even think about repurchasing any, but I could see myself repurchasing this in the future, especially during the summer months. I don’t think it will be moisturizing enough for my desert-dry skin during the winter though.

What moisturizer have you been using lately?
