Vitamin C serums are a staple in my morning routines- I use them every single morning and have for about a year now. I am constantly trying new Vitamin C products, so at this point, I mostly expect Bliss Bright Idea Vitamin C + Tri-Peptide Serum to maintain my skin and not actually do much to brighten dark spots, as they have already been brightened.

This serum has a thicker almost gel-like texture to it and is ever so slightly creamy. From a sensorial perspective, it glides easily over the skin and absorbs easily. It hydrates my skin and leaves it looking dewy and plump. I really like that this serum has a very lightweight finish to it and it doesn’t feel sticky. It also layers well with other products. This serum does have a pretty strong fruity and almost sweet smell to it- it very much reminds me of an orange starburst.
This serum definitely gives my skin a certain radiance and luminocity to it. It’s hard for me to tell at this point if that is a longer term effect of the Vitamin C or if it is mostly coming from the hydration this serum offers. I’ll need to keep using it longer to see which it is.
This is one of the gentlest Vitamin C serums I have tried so far, so this could be a great option for those sensitive to Vitamin C products. That said, this product is fairly heavily fragranced, so bear that in mind if your skin is sensitive to fragrance.
