The Beauty of Joseon Repair Serum has a bit of a more viscous and plush texture to it. It spreads on the skin and absorbs into it effortlessly, without a hint of tackiness. It leaves my skin looking and feeling quite hydrated and nourished. I love the nice dewy glow this serum gives my dry skin, but the glow does seem to primarily be due to immediate hydration, not a long-term benefit.
1. 63% Ginseng root water
2. 3% Snail secretion filtrate
5. Multi-molecular weight hyaluronic acid
6. Various botanical extracts
I have really enjoyed using this product. I find the experience of using it to be fabulous. It makes my skin look and feel nicely hydrated and layers quite well with other products in my routine. I’ve almost emptied it now, and while I have loved using this serum, I do have to say that I haven’t seen much in the way of repairing benefits, even with consistent long term use. I find it to be mildly soothing when my skin is just a tad irritated, but I don’t find the soothing benefits to be particularly impressive.
Price Point: $10.45 USD for 30 mL
Repurchase? I think this product is probably worth a try if you are in the market for a hydrating serum. I really enjoyed using it and it is quite affordable. However, this serum doesn’t particularly stand out to me, so I probably won’t end up repurchasing it.
