[REVIEW] Acaderma Better With Age Replenishing Light Cream

I have tried a few Acaderma products so far and I have been so impressed with their formulations and philosophy! First off, let’s take a moment to appreciate the packaging of Better With Age Replenishing Light Cream. I think it’s absolutely gorgeous! I also love that they are using a refillable system to reduce waste.

This product is targeted toward oily and combination skin types and I have very dry skin, so going in to testing this product I knew that it probably wouldn’t be the best as a standalone moisturizer for me. That being said, I have been thoroughly using this product, I just use it as almost a moisturizing serum before going ahead and sealing it in with a more occlusive moisturizer.

My Experience:
This cream has a light pudding-like texture and applies with ease. It spreads easily and smoothly and seems to just glide effortlessly over the skin. It also absorbs quickly and effortlessly, leaving the skin feeling smooth, hydrated, and never sticky! It leaves my skin looking plump and somewhat dewy, which I love. It does feel quite light on the skin while still nourishing and moisturizing, so I would imagine this would be a great standalone moisturizer for more oily skin types.

Since I have been using this cream, I feel like I have had fewer spots and my irritation has been noticeably reduced. My skin is feeling smooth, happy, and healthy!

Price Point: $68 USD for 50 mL including the outer packaging, $60 for just the refill pod. Repurchase? I would pick up their Rejuvenating Rich Cream instead of repurchasing this version of their moisturizer because I bet it is just as good of a product and more suitable for my skin type! I definitely recommend this for oily skin types, though.
